| Case Study: | Baltimore Aircoil Cooling Towers |
| Project: | Data Center Atlanta, GA 2007 |
| Contractor and Engineer: | McKenney’s, Inc. Atlanta, GA |
The first phase of this project consisted of 9,120 tons of BAC Model 31213A Cooling Towers. One of the project challenges was to design a sump that would provide 1,000,000 gallons of water storage. Since a concrete sump was the chosen solution, BAC Basinless Series Towers were the perfect complement. The basinless towers lowered the overall cost, height and complexity of the installation. The towers feature internal walkways, internal platforms and ladders, as well as external catwalks, ladders, handrails and safety cages.
