I graduated from Duke University with a degree in mechanical engineering and almost a minor in Materials Science.

I began my HVAC career in Atlanta with Carrier Air Conditioning Company, selling centrifugal chillers and central station air handlers.

After several years, I joined a manufacturers’ representative firm, selling a wide variety of commercial air conditioning products.

In 1984, I co-founded Brake & Hegyan, Inc., and have been working at it ever since.

I enjoy golf, working out, travel, scuba diving, gourmet cooking and wine tasting. One day, I may actually be finished renovating my house.
