I am a veteran of the Navy. There, I served as a helicopter search and rescue swimmer and anti-submarine warfare operator. I was fortunate to see the world and at the same time while creating a solid foundation for a mechanical background.
Upon leaving the military, I worked for a family owned residential and commercial construction business located on Hilton Head Island. After helping out my father’s business, I worked as a general manager for a water sports company, also located on Hilton Head Island. Again, I was able to expand my mechanical proficiency on everything from watercraft, inboard/outboard motors, diesel engines, and a variety of pumps on sailboats and charter fishing yachts. I also had the rare opportunity to assist the Mystic Sea Life Aquarium in their Bottlenose Dolphin Research Project in the estuaries of Hilton Head.
While having fun in the sun, this inspired me to attend the University of South Carolina studying in biological sciences. After 2 years, I attended Clemson University, where I continued my studies in biological sciences while working in the commercial construction business to pay my way through college.

I came to Atlanta to live the big city life and was blessed by meeting my wife, whom I recently married in Scotland, and was also blessed with the opportunity to work for Brake & Hegyan, Inc. I enjoy spending time with my wife sailing, cooking, swimming, catching a good hockey game and traveling, especially to Scotland!
