I graduated from Furman University in 1973 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in English literature.

Afterwards, I attended Georgia State University Graduate School in the field of Business Administration from 1973-1975.

I began my HVAC career in Atlanta in 1973 with American Service Company, a residential and light commercial HVAC contracting firm.

From 1981 to 1988, I worked for American Air Filter Company. In 1984, I advanced to the position of Branch Manager of the Atlanta office.

I joined Brake & Hegyan, Inc. in 1988, becoming Sales Manager in 1999 and a partner in the company in 2004.

My hobbies include golf, boating, working out.   I have occasionally been known to prepare some of the meanest chili this side of Terlingua, Texas.
